San Francisco’s deep-rooted musical legacy is known throughout the world as an epicenter for all genres of music.

San Francisco Records has been part of that legacy since its inception in 1969. Founded by legendary concert promoter Bill Graham and music producer David Rubinson, the label has hosted acts such as Tower of Power, Cold Blood and others.

San Francisco Records reemerged in 2010 as a boutique Contemporary Jazz label, with its roots in the rich and diverse local music community. In the spirit of Bill Graham’s original concept, the label strives to give artists who deserve to be heard a platform to deliver their music to the world.
